I do not advise you to pass this doll on as a gift to anyone who is unfamiliar with the paranormal and/or the doll's history! Thank you! Up for auction is a beautiful, vintage porcelain, haunted doll. Her name is Jenny. This doll has been carrying a spirit child for many, many years. I do not know the exact age of the doll, but she was a doll that belonged to my grandmother years ago and was passed on to my aunt once my grandmother had passed. My grandmother was what we call, "sensitive". She could always sense things about people and objects that others couldn't and it always amazed those closest to her. She also was visited by spirits and lost loved ones in her dreams (a trait that I have inhereted myself) and she would receive messages from these people for herself or meant to be passed on to others that they may have left behind. Many times they were people she had known and sometimes they were people she did not know, but she would find a way to get the message to the person it was meant for no matter how and how much work it took. My aunt has shared the story of Jenny with me recently, as I had not heard it from my grandmother. I knew the doll when I was a child and had seen it in my grandmother's home and I always thought it was a strange doll because her head had always been tilted slightly to the left (her left, my right). Once I asked my grandmother about this and she said that's the way she came to her. She had straightened her out many times and it always goes back. She said sometimes her head will stay straight for up to a day and then when she would come back to the doll her head would be tilted again. I always felt that she was looking at me a certain way, studying me or the things around her, with her head titled slightly. My aunt said that she believes my grandmother received this doll when she was around 5-6 years old. She said it came from a close friend of her mothers (my great-grandmother) who had lost a small child. When my grandmother received the doll she said "I am going to call her Jenny." Her mother's friend got very upset and emotional and asked how she knew about Jenny and my great-grandmother said that she had known about Jenny, that she had never told her. Jenny was the little girl that she had lost and I believe she was around the age of 3 when she passed. My aunt said that the one thing that always made Jenny stand out from other dolls her mother had collected was her head tilting to one side. No one knew for sure why this occured with the doll, but when my grandmother had asked a close friend of hers to look at the doll (who was a psychic) she said she believed the girl attached to the doll (she called Jennifer) was a curious little soul who liked to examine things around her and who would often tilt her head to one side when looking at you in a playful way. She wasn't 100% sure of the way the girl passed, but she said it involved water. She went on to tell my grandmother that this was a very old soul that had been left on this earth many, many years ago (100+) and had taken this doll as her host. She said no matter how many times you try to straighten the doll's head, the spirit will move it back, she is showing you signs of what she was like in life. My grandmother told my aunt that she saw in her dreams a small girl with golden blonde hair playing near a stream in a victorian style dress and then the dream would change to the girl standing in water up to her waist line and calling for "mummy". Over the course of many years my grandmother kept this doll close to her bed on a stand and she said at least 20 times she woke up hearing "mummy" as if it was whispered softly into her ear and the doll would be standing on the floor beside the stand. She said she knew the doll could not have fallen from the stand because she never heard anything except "mummy" and it was always standing up on the stand, never laying down. She would look down and see the little girl's head tilted to one side and pick her up and gently put her back in place. Since my aunt had the doll in her home she said she would often find windows open that were left closed and doors closed or open that were left the other way. She said one night she felt a cold breeze coming from a room down the hall and went to close the window (at this point she was used to the windows opening on their own) and she found the doll, on the stand on the floor in the room (as her mother had reported) and when she picked her up she was very, very warm to the touch. The rest of the room was freezing from the draft coming in the window, but Jenny was very warm. Over the course of several years my aunt attempted several E.V.P. sessions with Jenny. She only came up with 3 successful recordings. One was what sounded like "find mummy". The 2nd was "can you find me?" or "can you hide me?" she wasn't completely sure which. The 3rd was, "are you sad?". Since my aunt gave Jenny to me and asked me to find a new home for her, I have had my own personal experiences. As I said I have been able to see and hear lost loved ones in my dreams for many years. On several different nights I have had a dream about a little girl (who I don't recognize) standing in my yard with long blonde hair and no shoes. I always notice that she has no shoes on and her feet are wet, but the rest of her appears to be dry. I then take her by the hand and start walking her somewhere, as if I'm taking her where she needs to go. She seems lost and confused in the dream and before we ever end at any location I wake up. I have never had this dream before in my life, only since I've had the doll and have had it 3 times and am willing to bet it stops once she goes to a new home. I have also tried to straighten the dolls head myself, but it always goes back to the tilt that she is known for. My husband and I (on seperate occasions) have felt what feels like a small child grab our hand while we are sleeping. It woke us both up immediately and we assumed it was one of our children, but it wasn't either time. My husband was pretty startled by this and asked me to please get rid of the doll ASAP. One other thing has happened while I've had the doll. I keep her in my bedroom and I always put my cell phone on the stand next to my bed at night. One morning I woke up and I looked at my phone to see if I had any messages and the following buttons had been pushed *#77777777. I have no idea why this would happen. I know it was not one of my children because they were not at home on this night and my husband never uses or touches my phone so I know it wasn't him. I have no idea, I have never seen anything like that on my phone before. She has also been known to change facial expressions, but I have never witnessed this myself. While the doll has been in my care I have also (on 3 different occasions) seen shadow figures in my home. Two times the figures were about 4' tall and darted through a doorway leading into my hall way. The other time I saw the shadow figure it was in my bedroom one night when I had gotten into bed. I was about to turn off the light when I looked straight ahead against the far wall there was the same size shadow figure and it was gone almost instantly. I asked my aunt if this was unusual and she said no, over the course of many years she can't count the number of times she has seen a shadow figure in her home near Jenny, always 3'-4' tall. Jenny stands about 12" tall, on a stand and she has beautiful blonde hair. Her dress is a bit faded from age, but over all she is in great condition. She carries a hand bag in her right hand and has two bows in her hair. I want Jenny to go to a good home where she is cared for and given the attention she deserves. Please bid with confidence.
